The Mega Millions jackpot shot up to $800 million as no player won the grand prize for Friday’s drawing, continuing the four-month winless drought that propelled the prize to the tenth-highest in the game’s history. Friday’s winning numbers were 2, 5, 42, 44 and 60, and the gold Mega Ball 1 for the $743 million prize, officials announced. No players had all five white balls, but 13 tickets matched four of the white balls and the gold Mega Ball to win prizes ranging from $20,000 to $40,000, depending on the chosen multiplier.
