PHILIP FONG/AFP via Getty Images Sony's next-generation PlayStation 6 could ship with a radically upgraded cooling system, according to a newly published Sony patent that surfaced this week and is already being linked to the PS6 by industry watchers. The patent, spotted online in July and filed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, describes redesigned heat pipes intended to keep a future console cool whether it is standing vertically or sitting horizontally.
