A Deputy US Marshal was fatally shot while serving an arrest warrant in Louisiana on Monday, according to authorities. Members of the US Marshals Violent Offender Task Force and local sheriff’s detectives were “conducting a law enforcement operation” to arrest a wanted fugitive in Alexandria around 3 p. m.
