A Southern California woman is lucky to be alive after narrowly escaping a horrifying attempted carjacking during what was supposed to be a relaxing beach getaway to Mexico with her beloved dog, Ellie. Cassandra Light, a life coach from San Diego, is opening up about the harrowing ordeal she says unfolded in Tijuana about a month ago as she was driving home from a trip to Rosarito. Light said someone tried to steal her car at gunpoint, with the person firing multiple times at her car and her, where her sweet golden retriever was inside.
