An ICE agent gunned down an illegal immigrant after the man attempted to run agents over during a traffic stop in Texas on Thursday, the agency said. Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a Mexican national, was shot and killed by officers in Houston after he had been caught up in an operation the agency had been conducting in the city, Immigration and Customs Enforcement said in a press release. Salgado had tried to flee after agents told him to pull his vehicle over, the agency said.
