Erika Kirk left court Monday as a former campus police officer described seeing her husband, Turning Point USA founder Charlie, killed last September — kicking off an emotional week of testimony. Kirk was seen exiting the courtroom with Charlie’s parents and other family members as Officer Chris Bagley described hearing a rifle shot and watching Charlie Kirk collapse during an event on the campus of Utah Valley University. Accused assassin Tyler Robinson, who faces the death penalty if convicted, was seen smiling while talking to his attorney in court at various points Monday, according to reporters.
