The former Texas Tech quarterback, who unsuccessfully tried to join the NFL this year, has been barred from competing in the CFL in the upcoming season, the league said in a statement to USA Today on Friday. “Upholding the integrity of the league and ensuring fair competition are paramount to the CFL,” the CFL said.
