US forces have practiced in recent years how to rescue soldiers with sea drones before a real mission earlier this month. US Central CommandUS forces started practicing conducting at-sea rescue missions with naval drones several years ago. These rehearsals were put to use earlier this month after Iran downed a US Apache helicopter.
