An Arizona TV station has confirmed reports that Nancy Guthrie’s purported kidnappers said in a ransom note that the 84-year-old grandmother was dead. ABC News on Monday said one of the notes — received days after she disappeared from her Tucson home — had died and been “buried in nature” after her Feb. 1 kidnapping.
