A sharp-eyed security guard may have helped avert another tragedy at a Southern California mosque just one month after a deadly mass shooting left three worshippers dead. The alarming incident unfolded Thursday at the Islamic Center of San Diego, where heightened security remains in place following the massacre carried out by teenage killers Cain Clark and Caleb Vazquez. According to mosque leaders, a security guard spotted a vehicle repeatedly circling the property and quickly alerted authorities.
