All too often, you can kind of see where the story is heading in WWE. Sami Zayn being the special guest referee for Cody Rhodes and Gunther’s WWE championship rematch was not an example of that — it’s such a perfect twist. It will put Zayn’s internal conflict front and center and force him to make a definitive choice between helping and screwing Rhodes and he will masterfully have this play out throughout the entire contest.
