California Governor Gavin Newsom has tried to flip the script on President Trump and his administration as he and his wife Jennifer face a Department of Justice investigation. “The United States Department of Justice selectively leaked uncorroborated details about ongoing investigative matters involving the Governor and First Partner, so it should not be a problem for you to confirm whether US DOJ has opened any investigations into the instances of apparent public corruption detailed above involving the President and his allies,” Newsom wrote in a letter he shared Tuesday night. 4 Gavin Newsom has tried to flip the script on the Trump administration as he and his wife face a DOJ investigation.
