Gov. Gavin Newsom said on Monday that the US Department of Justice is investigating him and his family in an explosive social media post. Newsom said that federal investigators are looking into the activities of the governor, his wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, and family members as an act of political retaliation as the leader of California weighs a run for president after terming out of office at the beginning of next year.
