When the Rams were on the clock with the 12th pick in the NFL Draft, everyone expected them to draft a top wide receiver, as they are in a win-now mode. Instead, they went with the long-term plan and selected quarterback Ty Simpson from Alabama. The Rams ended up taking only one wide receiver during the NFL Draft.
