After making the NBA Finals for the first time in 27 years by winning 11 straight playoff games, the players are still in awe of their faithful — and perhaps unique — fans. “Knicks fans are a specific species of human that should be studied,” Knicks bench player Landry Shamet said on “Inside the NBA” after the 130-93 Game 4 win.
