A Maryland woman won a $50,000 lottery prize after playing with license plate numbers from her husband’s old car that he refuses to get rid of, according to authorities. The woman from St. Mary’s County told the Maryland Lottery she won the “Pick 5” prize after noticing a “unique five-digit number” on the license plate of her husband’s clunker, which begrudgingly sits in their driveway.
