Anthony Volpe’s return to the Yankees’ lineup will have to wait at least another day. Volpe, who has been rehabbing after offseason surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, was slated to hit second and play shortstop for Double-A Somerset on Friday instead of joining the Yankees in The Bronx to open their series against the Orioles. Through his first 10 rehab games, Volpe has collected 34 at-bats and logged consecutive nine-inning games at shortstop for the Patriots earlier this week.
