Comedian Kathy Griffin owned up to giving $10,000 to Eric Swalwell’s failed campaign for California governor, giving a rambling excuse for her support of the accused rapist — and revealing what she did with the cash after clawing it back. “I’m very proud I was able to get the donation back from Swalwell-world,” Griffin explained on her podcast, “Talk Your Head off. ” Griffin decided to donate to the accused sex pest, she previously stated, because he was a “freaking white, straight guy.
