LIV Golf executives have reportedly been summoned to an “emergency summit” in New York as rumors swirl about the future of the breakaway golf league. The Saudi-backed organization has continued to struggle for television viewership in the US despite poaching stars like Bryson DeChambeau away from the PGA Tour. And according to The Telegraph, a “seismic” announcement now awaits LIV — and that there wasn’t a single executive from LIV present at the site of the tournament in Mexico City, the Club de Golf Chapultepec.
