Kanye West is being sued for allegedly sucker-punching a man at the Chateau Marmont last year, knocking him unconscious before repeatedly punching him as he lay defenseless on the ground, according to a Los Angeles lawsuit. The unidentified plaintiff — suing as John Doe — filed the complaint in Los Angeles County Superior Court accusing the rapper, now known as Ye, of battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress stemming from the April 16, 2024 incident at the iconic West Hollywood hotspot. According to the complaint, Ye approached the plaintiff’s table in the garden area of the private dining venue around 11 p.
