KPIX-TV chief meteorologist Paul Heggen has left the Bay Area station after six years on the air, delivering his final broadcast Friday as colleagues paid tribute to his career with a highlight reel of memorable on-air moments. Heggen, an Emmy Award-winning forecaster who joined the CBS affiliate in 2020, announced the departure in a social media post over the weekend, saying he and his family plan to relocate back east. Heggen’s colleagues paid tribute to him during his final broadcast Friday.
