An egg laid by California’s most famous feathered couple has started to hatch — and all eyes are on the famous pair’s love nest. Big Bear bald eagles Jackie and Shadow — whose lives are documented via a webcam that attracts viewers worldwide — introduced the bundle of joy back in February after a raven attacked the pair’s first two eggs of the season. This week, the first signs of life came in the form of small chirps emanating from the egg, according to the nonprofit Friends of Big Bear Valley, which operates the eagle cam.
