Florida authorities narrowly saved a bald eagle after it crash-landed in a yard — then plummeted into a canal teeming with sharp-toothed alligators. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office celebrated the “majestic save” that sent two valiant officers straight into gator-infested waters early Wednesday morning. The bald eagle crashed into a resident’s yard in Palm City, Florida.
