What arrived in Thailand as a routine cargo of scrap metal has instead exposed a far more complex and controversial case involving alleged e-waste exported from the United States. Authorities at Laem Chabang Port in Chon Buri intercepted 284 tonnes of electronic waste packed across multiple containers, after discovering that the shipment had been falsely declared.
