Imprisoned former Colorado county clerk Tina Peters was found not guilty of assault on a fellow inmate after a confrontation at the La Vista Correctional Facility in January, the Colorado Department of Corrections told FOX31. Surveillance footage captured at the facility showed Peters navigating a large black cart through a doorway of the facility when another inmate grabs the other end and the two start scuffling. The confrontation ends when Peters appears to wrap her hands around the fellow inmate’s neck.
