James Talarico Texas State Rep. James Talarico took aim at the ongoing war in Iran, questioning the amount of money spent in the conflict instead of investing it at home. Speaking on CBS News, Talarico said he "saw how military disasters like the Iraq war robbed this nation of young lives, billions of dollars, and our moral standing in the world," adding that he worries "that our current leaders are repeating those same mistakes.
