A new street-food sensation in the San Fernando Valley is turning ordinary snack bags into fully loaded meals — and hungry Angelenos are lining up to try it. At SHAW, a popular food vendor in Van Nuys, customers bring their own bag of chips and watch as it gets transformed into a massive, overstuffed bowl of flavor. The concept is simple: hand over your favorite chips, and the crew slices open the bag and piles it high with rice, beans, your choice of meat, guacamole, cheese, lettuce and more.
