Mayor Zohran Mamdani made an unannounced trip to Washington, DC, on Thursday to meet with President Trump about housing, The Post has learned. Multiple sources with knowledge of the sit-down said the democratic socialist mayor and the president were set to speak at the White House in the afternoon. The Oval Office sit-down — the mayor’s second since his election in November — will touch on a “variety of housing projects” that could amount to a “historic investment” in new housing in the Big Apple, one source said.
