California’s most famous feathered couple may fly the coop if a planned luxury housing development is built near their nest. The Friends of Big Bear — which has been captivating viewers worldwide by filming the day-to-day activities of lovebirds Jackie and Shadow — issued a “last chance” plea to stop the development less than a mile from their nest. 3 Two bald eagles, Jackie and Shadow, stand in their nest filled with snow, overlooking a snowy landscape and a lake.
