MILAN — It’s been almost a decade since Dylan Larkin competed in the NHL playoffs. That was at the end of his rookie season in 2015-16, when the Red Wings could muster only one win against the Lightning in a five-game, first-round series. Detroit has since missed the playoffs for nine consecutive seasons, which is the league’s second-longest postseason drought.
