A major US ally has launched an investigation into whether Jeffrey Epstein was a Russian spy collecting compromising material on elite global figures — just days after the release of thousands of messages that tied the late pedophile financier to Vladimir Putin. Polish authorities will dig into possible links between the sex offender and Russian intelligence after the US Justice Department’s latest dump of Epstein files included multiple mentions of Putin and Moscow. “More and more leads, more and more information, and more and more commentary in the global press all relate to the suspicion that this unprecedented pedophilia scandal was co-organized by Russian intelligence services,” Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Tuesday during a government meeting.
