Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson was among those addressing the shocking footage, now seen millions of times on X, calling it “deeply” disturbing and “gut-wrenching. ” Corshawnda Hatter, 33, identified herself as the mom who was cornered and attacked as she tried to walk home Monday with her 9-year-old son and younger daughter from Orville Bright Elementary School on the city’s South Side.
