The Giants thought they could build off their Week 4 victory against the unbeaten Chargers by taking care of business seven days later against the Saints in New Orleans. They raced to a 14-3 lead but did not score in the final 43 minutes of a game that got away from them because they turned the ball over five times. The 26-14 loss leaves the Giants at 1-4 heading into a short week of preparation before Thursday night’s game against the Eagles.
