New York Attorney General Letitia James issued a stern warning to the Democratic Socialists of America on Saturday: if you challenge incoming presumptive House Speaker Hakeem Jeffries, plan to take her on, too. “For those who live in his district and are so drunk of power to think that they’re going to run against this man, you’ve got to get past this neighborhood and Tish James,” she crowed while speaking at a Brooklyn Democratic leadership event on Saturday during the SOMOS political conference in Puerto Rico.
