Ryan Pulock out 2-4 weeks in latest Islanders injury blow

You could have been excused for thinking it was a harbinger of a good diagnosis for Ryan Pulock that the Islanders sent down Isaiah George Sunday morning, 24 hours after bringing the defenseman up. Instead, it might have been merely to get George some game action, with AHL Hamilton playing twice before the Islanders next take the ice on Thursday against Carolina. That is because Pulock, the Islanders announced, will miss the next 2-4 weeks with the upper-body injury sustained in Thursday night’s win over the Wild.
