Phony NYC doctor hit with upgraded murder charge after patient died from trendy anti-aging injection

The dodgy doctor accused of causing the death of a patient he injected with a trendy anti-aging treatment over the summer has been charged with her murder, the NYPD announced Tuesday. Unlicensed Bronx spa operator Luis Rojas Cabrera, 55, was slapped with the upgraded charge of depraved indifference murder after the city’s medical examiner ruled the death of his patient, Elizabeth Baron, 27, a homicide in late September, cops said. Baron, a Bronx local, was allegedly killed after Rojas Cabrera accidentally injected her with air during a treatment of NAD+ at his Bereshit Lifestyle Center on July 19.
