The influencer behind Nithya Raman’s “fascist liars” video has a history of wading into explosive Los Angeles controversies — including a viral campaign targeting a popular restaurant after it was accused of segregating Asian customers. Ed Choi, who posts as @etchaskej, repeatedly targeted Los Angeles restaurant group Great White last year after false allegations surfaced that Asian customers were being seated together at its Melrose location. 5 The campaign said it removed itself from the post and asked Choi to take the video down.
