Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) announced the birth of her daughter Thursday as she awaits trial on federal charges connected to a violent anti-ICE protest that could send her to prison for more than a decade.   “Being a mom is one of the greatest joys of my life, and I feel deeply grateful to welcome this beautiful, healthy baby into the world,” McIver, 40, said in a statement.
