Dan Wilson out as Mariners manager following disastrous season one year after reaching ALCS

A year after Dan Wilson led the Mariners to the American League Championship Series, he is out as manager of the club.   Wilson had announced that he would not be returning to manage the club after the Mariners’ season-finale win over the Angels.   “This season has been very difficult, and of course the results have not been what any of us had expected,” Wilson said.
