President Trump met with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron Monday on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The two world leaders discussed the wars in Iran and Ukraine during their meeting at Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan, according to the French president. “We decided to act together to ease tensions in the energy markets, by protecting critical infrastructure in the Middle East and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz,” Macron wrote on X.
