Truck plows into 2 teens riding bike in NYC, killing one of them: cops

Two teens riding on the same bike were struck by a truck in Manhattan Friday night — killing one and leaving the other hospitalized, cops said. The teens, aged 15 and 13, were heading along East 14th Street when they were hit by the vehicle – an excavation truck – as it turned north onto First Avenue at about 9 p. m.
