Islanders name Bo Horvat captain after Anders Lee departure

The Islanders named Bo Horvat captain on Monday morning, answering one of training camp’s biggest questions before it could be asked. Horvat, who wore the “C” in Vancouver before the Islanders traded for him, is the 16th captain in franchise history. He replaces Anders Lee, who had held the captaincy since John Tavares left in 2018.
