Mets’ Zac Thornton ready to play spoiler against division-hopeful Yankees

Zac Thornton understands the Yankees still are playing for the American League East title, so he carries a responsibility.   “We want to be spoilers to some people’s seasons,” the Mets left-hander told The Post on Friday. “We did a little bit of that last week in Miami — that felt good to spoil some seasons — so we have got to keep it on.
