Klint Kubiak had an opportunity Friday to clear the fog surrounding Brock Bowers’ knee surgery. The Raiders coach only made it thicker. Kubiak officially ruled Bowers out of Sunday’s season opener against the Dolphins, then struggled to explain when the injury emerged and when Las Vegas learned its star tight end needed a procedure.
