It’s been 25 years since the Sept. 11 attacks, but the city’s Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet faltered on its mission to bring closure to the families who lost their loved ones in the terror attack. There are still 1,099 victims of the terror attack that have yet to be identified — making up roughly 40% of the 2,753 people killed at the World Trade Center.
