SAN DIEGO — Perhaps this will settle the problem of whether the Yankees should start Trent Grisham or Spencer Jones in center field — and how to open a roster spot — once Aaron Judge returns. Grisham exited Friday’s game against the Padres in the bottom of the third with right hamstring discomfort — the same hamstring that landed him on the injured list earlier this season, though he indicated it was in a different spot — an inning after he was unable to come up with a fly ball in front of him that landed for an RBI single. The center fielder will likely undergo imaging to determine the severity of what he is dealing with, but it could ultimately land him back on the injured list with three weeks left in the regular season.
