Less than two months after losing his job as the Spurs’ play-by-play announcer following accusations of an affair with a relative of a San Antonio player, Jacob Tobey is back in the booth. Tobey announced Friday that he is returning to the Spurs’ broadcast, acknowledging that he still has work to do to rebuild trust within the organization and community. “I thank the Spurs for allowing me time to step away to sort out issues in my personal life,” he wrote on X.
