Lindsay Clancy asked Massachusetts’ highest court to force the judge overseeing her high-profile triple murder trial to individually question or boot the holdout juror in her case before a mistrial was declared. Clancy’s lawyers filed emergency papers with the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Friday afternoon to block Judge William Sullivan from declaring a mistrial on the grounds that he made a bad call when he chose not to probe a male holdout juror who allegedly didn’t follow the law on reasonable doubt.
