Authorities across the US are being urged to boost police patrols around Jewish schools and synagogues ahead of the Jewish High Holy Days, which begin Sept. 11, the 25th anniversary of the 2001 terror attacks. “Every Jewish child deserves access to a safe place to learn, and every individual deserves to worship in peace,” said Sydney Altfield, CEO of the Teach Coalition, a New York-based group that operates in seven states.
