BMW driver smashes, flips NYPD cruiser — and injures 2 cops, video shows

A BMW driver smashed into an NYPD cruiser causing it to flip and burst into flames in an early Friday Bronx crash that left two cops injured, according to cops and dramatic footage from the scene.   The marked police vehicle was traveling on the Bruckner Expressway near East 144th Street around 1 a. m.
